"Excellence is not an end point — it is the way we do every single thing, every day." — Mrs Savane Nabintou, Founder & Director

Preamble

SY GROUP bases its development on inviolable ethical principles. This charter sets out the commitments of the group towards its clients, its partners, its staff and Ivorian society. It applies to all entities of the group — SY Travels, SY Insurances — as well as to any future subsidiary or activity.

These commitments are not mere declarations of intent: they constitute the framework for every decision, every business relationship and every recruitment within the group.

1. Integrity and Honesty

SY GROUP undertakes to act with honesty and transparency in all its business relationships. This entails:

  • Clear, complete and fair information on the products and services offered, without omission or misleading emphasis
  • Disclosure of the risks and limitations of each service, in particular for insurance products
  • The categorical refusal of any unfair, misleading or aggressive commercial practice
  • The proactive correction of any error, without waiting for it to be reported

2. Anti-Corruption

SY GROUP applies a zero tolerance policy towards corruption in all its forms — active, passive, direct or indirect. This policy complies with the provisions of OHADA law and the international commitments of Côte d'Ivoire.

  • No staff member is authorised to offer, solicit or accept any undue advantage in exchange for a business decision
  • Gifts and hospitality remain within reasonable limits and are systematically declared
  • Any report of suspicious conduct may be sent to management at n.savane@sygroup-ci.com, with a guarantee of confidentiality

3. Respect and Non-Discrimination

SY GROUP guarantees fair treatment to every person with whom the group interacts, without distinction as to nationality, ethnic origin, religion, gender, age or social condition.

  • Access to services is open to all under the same objective conditions
  • Recruitment is based exclusively on skills, experience and alignment with the values of the group
  • Any discriminatory conduct within the group is subject to immediate disciplinary measures

4. Responsibility towards Clients

Our clients entrust us with their travel, their insurance, and sometimes their most important projects. This trust is sacred. SY GROUP undertakes to:

  • Deliver every service with the same level of rigour, regardless of the amount of the transaction
  • Handle every complaint seriously and within the announced time limits
  • Never subordinate the quality of service to short-term commercial considerations
  • Protect clients' personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

5. Loyalty towards Partners

SY GROUP's relationships with its partners — airlines, insurers, suppliers — are governed by:

  • Strict compliance with the contractual agreements signed
  • Payment of financial obligations within the agreed time limits
  • Transparent communication in the event of difficulty or inability to honour a commitment
  • The refusal of any opportunistic conduct contrary to the legitimate interests of a partner

6. Environmental and Social Responsibility

SY GROUP is aware of its role in the Ivorian economic fabric and undertakes to conduct its activities responsibly:

  • Preference given to local service providers where the quality of service is equal
  • Gradual reduction of the paper footprint through the digitalisation of processes
  • Active contribution to the training and employability of young Ivorians
  • Participation in the development of local and regional tourism

7. Internal Governance

This charter is upheld at the highest level of the group's management. Its implementation is ensured by:

  • Training of all staff in its principles from the time they join
  • An annual review of its application and its updating where necessary
  • The possibility for any staff member or client to report a breach without risk of retaliation
